What we're about
Old World Co. is all about real craft—old tools, old methods, deep respect for what’s come before. I’m Peter Edward: traditionally trained stonemason, 2020 Master Builders Apprentice of the Year (Stonemasonry), trusted on heritage sites from Brighton’s fire-scarred St James Catholic Church, to Pentridge Prison’s brutal bluestone, right through to Tasmania’s Treasury and Royal Engineers Buildings. I don’t cut corners; I shape them. In late 2025 I created Old World Co to bring Garden & Property Care and Bespoke Stonework into one business. Whether its's a stone block or a box hedge, I keep the edges sharp and an eagle eye on every detail.

Stone
Old World Co undertakes select stonework projects with a focus on upcycling local natural stone, particularly bluestone, sandstone and limestone. Work is carried out using traditional tools and techniques, allowing the stone to be reshaped and repurposed while retaining it's character.
Commissions
Old World Co undertakes a limited number of artistic and architectural commissions. Work is carried out using traditional tools and techniques, with a focus on bluestone, sandstone and limestone.
